Tonto Dike Set To Represent Nigeria In Big Brother Africa
Famous Nollywood actress and singer Tonto Dikeh has been confirmed as the next person to represent Nigeria in the fourth coming season of bigbrother Africa.
After her tweet last night in which she confirmed the entry,her fans and friends have been congratulating her and advising her to use the chance to her benefit.Below are some of the tweets;
Dikeh’s appearance on the show was as a means of getting closer to the “big time”, she says, and her start in the Nigerian movie industry came soon after. Nollywood, as it is colloquially known, is second only to the Indian film industry in number of movies produced each year.
Dikeh says that after her second movie Holy Cross, more movie directors and producers were willing to cast her, and she has appeared in scores of movies since. Dikeh’s role in the movie Dirty Secret has generated controversy amongst Nigerians, because the movie contains nude scenes. While some criticize her role of being untraditional and un-African, others say that Dikeh is merely being professional.
In January 2011 Dikeh took part in a charity fashion show in Lagos with Banky W., Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and others.
Tonto was known in Nollywood as a chain smoker and had started smoking since the age of 14 but she recently testified that she stopped smoking after prayers with Pastor T.B. Joshua via his Christian television station Emmanuel TV.
She started her singing career late last year, and had her first live performance at the AY live comedy event..the video has over 2000 views on youtube.

Actor Wesley Snipes released from prison
Actor Wesley Snipes has been released from a federal prison where he was serving a three-year sentence after being convicted on tax charges in February 2010.
The release to a supervised residential location in New York occurred Tuesday, the Federal Bureau of Prisons told CNN.
Snipes, 50, who starred in the "Blade" action movies and "White Men Can't Jump," had been serving time at a federal prison in Pennsylvania. A jury convicted him of willfully failing to file tax returns for 1999, 2000 and 2001. Snipes was acquitted of felony tax fraud and conspiracy charges.
In June 2011, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal of his sentence, which he had argued was too harsh for a misdemeanor conviction.

WIZKID BACK TO EME
Has Wizkid swallowed the bitter pill and returned home? These are some of the questions readers have asked us, since photos of the singer with EME signees Shaydee and DJ Xclusive surfaced online.
Apparently, the trio who were escorted by a Hum-vee and security escorts drove down to Cotonou, Benin Republic for a music show gone down on April 5 2013, happily took pictures of themselves as they journeyed to the neighbouring country.
After the rumoured split from Banky W and parent record label EME, Wizkid went on to start up his own music label Star Boi Entertainment not long after he controversially declared his ‘freedom’ over social network Twitter. Don’t forget his absence from the stage at Banky’s ‘The Grand Love Project’ concert.
While fans and critics pondered on the situation, both parties tried to stay clear of the press and on rare occasions where they were cornered to speak about the situation, they assured fans everything was okay.
While Banky continued to assure fans that Wizzy was still a part of the EME family, Wizzy was less bothered, shooting videos without the EME emblem appearing in them. Wizzy later explained that he had started his own label but was still ‘part of the family.’
We guess they might have reached a reasonable conclusion and Wizzy is once again hoisted his EME flag…?
